This study looked at 178 people with advanced cancer, chronic kidney disease, or serious lung conditions to find out when they need palliative care. Researchers used special scores to predict survival and guide care. No new treatments were tested; instead, the goal was to learn how to better time supportive care alongside regular treatment.
