First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether starting palliative care early helps adults with relapsed or high-risk leukemias or myelodysplastic syndrome. About 105 participants will be randomly assigned to receive early palliative care or usual care. The goal is to see if it improves where they die (e.g., at home vs. ICU) and reduces hospital stays.
