New drug duo takes on tough kidney tumors

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, palbociclib (a daily pill) and sasanlimab (a monthly shot), in people with advanced kidney cancer that hasn't responded to standard treatments. The goal is to see if the combo can shrink tumors and to find the safest dose. About 100 adults with clear cell or papillary kidney cancer will take part for up to 2 years, with follow-up for up to 6 years.
