Could pain be an early warning sign for Parkinson's?
NCT ID NCT07365566
Summary
This study aims to understand if people with a specific sleep disorder (idiopathic REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, or iRBD) experience pain differently. iRBD is a known early risk factor for developing Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare pain levels and characteristics in 24 people with iRBD to a control group with a different sleep condition to gather clues for earlier detection.
