NCT ID NCT07432711

First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a long-acting painkiller (liposomal bupivacaine) plus a standard painkiller works better than the standard painkiller alone for pain after video-assisted lung surgery. About 100 adults having lung surgery will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if the combination reduces the need for extra pain medicine and improves pain control for up to 72 hours after surgery.
