New pain block could ease recovery after lung surgery

Summary
This study tests a new way to manage pain after lung surgery (VATS). It combines a long-lasting numbing medicine (liposomal bupivacaine) with a standard one, given as a nerve block. The goal is to see if it reduces the need for extra painkillers and improves comfort. About 134 adults having lung surgery will take part.
