Summary

This study tested whether a combination of two drugs, dextromethorphan and lidocaine, can reduce nerve pain in people with spinal cord injuries. 26 adults received different doses of the drugs or a placebo to see which worked best. The goal was to find a better way to ease this type of chronic pain.
