NCT ID NCT07233096

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether an ultrasound-guided nerve block can reduce pain and the need for morphine in people who donate part of their liver. 64 donors will be randomly assigned to get either the nerve block plus standard pain relief, or standard pain relief alone. The goal is to see if the block helps donors recover more comfortably with less opioid use.
