First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a special nerve block (M-TAPA) to see if it reduces pain better than standard numbing medicine for children after laparoscopic belly surgery. Sixty children aged 1 to 7 will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or the usual numbing injection at the surgical cuts. The main goal is to measure pain levels 6 hours after surgery using a standard pain scale.
