New study aims to ease pain for young boys after surgery

Summary

This study tests two different numbing injections to see which one controls pain better after hypospadias repair in boys aged 1 to 5. One injection targets the sacral area near the spine, the other targets the caudal space. Researchers will measure pain levels, need for extra pain medicine, and side effects over the first 24 hours after surgery.
