First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a specific nerve block, given before surgery, can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after minimally invasive heart bypass surgery. Sixty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the block improves overall recovery quality and reduces opioid-related side effects.
