Chilling out the sting: can a cold buzz make insulin shots less scary for kids?

NCT ID NCT06369649

Summary

This study tested two simple devices to see if they could make insulin injections less painful and frightening for children with Type 1 diabetes. Researchers compared a cold-only device and a combined cold-and-vibration device against standard injection care in 90 children aged 6-10. The goal was to find a quick, easy method to improve the daily experience of managing this lifelong condition.
