New injection tested to ease pain for kids after surgery

Summary
This study is testing two different numbing injections to see which one better controls pain after hypospadias surgery in young boys. Seventy boys aged 1-5 will receive one of the two injections after they are asleep for surgery. Researchers will measure their pain levels and need for extra pain medicine over the first day to see which method works best and has fewer side effects.
