Summary
This study looked at 93 adults having bladder tumor surgery under spinal anesthesia. They were given either magnesium sulfate, dexmedetomidine, or a placebo during the operation. Magnesium sulfate led to less pain after surgery, delayed the need for extra painkillers, and reduced total painkiller use, while both drugs were safe for breathing and heart function.
