Summary
This study aimed to see if adding baclofen to the opioid medication buprenorphine could create stronger pain relief. Researchers tested this combination in 19 healthy volunteers by measuring their response to controlled heat pain. The goal was to develop safer, more effective pain management options that might help people with opioid use disorder who also experience pain.
