New device aims to cut pain and opioid use after C-Sections

NCT ID NCT07185425

Summary

This study is testing whether a special patch-like device can help reduce pain after a cesarean delivery, with the goal of helping women need less opioid pain medication. Researchers will compare the device to a fake version and to standard pain care in 180 women. The main thing they will measure is how much opioid medication participants use in their first few days of recovery.
