New nerve blocks target heart surgery pain

NCT ID NCT06657261

Summary

This study tested two different nerve block techniques to reduce pain after coronary artery bypass surgery. Researchers compared ultrasound-guided injections in the chest wall of 60 patients to see which method provided better pain relief. The goal was to help patients recover more comfortably and potentially avoid complications from severe post-surgery pain.
