Summary

This study will test two different medicines added to a standard numbing injection for a nerve block in 60 people with myasthenia gravis undergoing chest surgery to remove the thymus gland. The goal is to see which additive—dexmedetomidine or dexamethasone—provides longer pain relief after surgery. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups, and researchers will measure how long it takes before they need additional pain medication.
