Summary
This study tested whether adding dexamethasone or dexmedetomidine to a nerve block (ESPB) could improve pain control after spine surgery. 90 adults having lumbar spine surgery took part. The main goal was to see how long it took before patients needed opioid pain medicine, and how much opioid they used overall.
