Summary

This study tested two different ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to control pain after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (weight-loss surgery). Thirty adults were randomly assigned to receive either an erector spinae plane block or a thoracic paravertebral block. The goal was to see which method provided better pain relief and faster recovery in the first 24 hours after surgery.
