First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested two pain relief methods after rhinoplasty (nose surgery) in 159 adults. One group took acetaminophen with hydrocodone (an opioid), and the other took acetaminophen with ibuprofen (a common painkiller). Participants rated their pain on a 0-100 scale before and after each dose for 5 days. The goal was to see which combination worked better and had fewer side effects.
