New study finds better way to ease pain after breast cancer surgery

Summary
This study looked at two different nerve blocks to control pain after mastectomy (breast removal surgery). 60 patients received one of two blocks and their pain levels and need for extra pain medicine were tracked for 24 hours. The goal was to find which block provides better pain relief and reduces opioid use.
