New study aims to ease Post-Mastectomy pain without strong drugs

Summary

This study tests two different nerve block techniques to control pain after mastectomy in 40 women with breast cancer. The goal is to see which method reduces the need for morphine and other opioids, helping patients recover faster and with fewer side effects. Participants will receive one of the two blocks before surgery, and their pain and medication use will be tracked for 24 hours.
