Summary
This study tested a nerve block called the external oblique intercostal block to manage pain after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in 20 obese patients. The goal was to see how well it numbs the belly area and reduces the need for strong painkillers in the first day after surgery. Results help improve comfort and recovery after weight loss surgery.
