First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compared two methods for controlling pain after a planned C-section: a nerve block (quadratus lumborum block) and a spinal injection of morphine. 118 women who had a C-section under spinal anesthesia took part. The main goal was to see which method reduced the need for extra pain medicine in the first 24 hours after surgery.
