New study aims to find best painkiller for C-Section recovery
NCT ID NCT07377630
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two ways to manage pain after a planned C-section: a small dose of morphine given with the spinal anesthesia, versus a nerve block (TAP block) using numbing medicine. One hundred women will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief and fewer side effects for the mother and baby.
