Summary

This study tested two methods to control pain after major abdominal surgery: a spinal injection of morphine and a newer nerve block technique. The goal was to see which provides better pain relief with fewer side effects. 56 adults participated, and the study measured how much extra pain medicine they needed and their pain scores.
