First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested whether a new program called PQ-ResPOND could help manage recurrent pain in children with severe neurologic disabilities like cerebral palsy. About 54 children and their parents participated, with some receiving the program (surveys, feedback reports, and extra support from a palliative care team) and others receiving usual care. The main goal was to see if a larger study is possible and if the program might reduce pain and improve quality of life.
