Could a team of experts make anal surgery recovery less painful?
NCT ID NCT07150819
Summary
This study planned to test if a team-based pain management plan could help people recover better from common anal surgeries like hemorrhoids. It would have compared standard care to a new approach involving surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, psychologists, and pharmacists working together. The goal was to see if this team model could reduce pain, speed up healing, and improve patients' mental well-being after surgery. However, the trial was withdrawn before any patients were enrolled.
