Braces pain showdown: researchers test which wire is gentlest

Summary

This study looks at three different types of wires used in braces to see which one causes the least pain after they are first put in. About 126 healthy people getting braces will rate their pain over the first week. The goal is to help orthodontists choose the wire that makes treatment more comfortable.
