Could a simple diary improve pain reporting after surgery?

NCT ID NCT07308730

Summary

This study is testing whether having patients fill out a daily pain diary helps doctors understand their pain better after gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers will compare the diary method to the standard way nurses ask about pain. The goal is to improve how pain is tracked without changing the pain medications patients receive.
