First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether asking patients to keep a pain diary after gallbladder surgery helps them report pain more accurately than standard methods. About 142 adults having their first laparoscopic gallbladder removal will either use a diary or receive usual care. The goal is to improve pain assessment without adding new drugs.
