First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether asking patients to keep a pain diary after gallbladder surgery helps them report their pain more accurately than the usual method. About 142 adults having their first laparoscopic gallbladder removal will be split into two groups: one uses a pain diary, the other gets standard pain checks. The goal is to see if the diary leads to better pain management without extra medication.
