New training aims to ease pain for dementia patients and their caregivers

Summary
This study is testing a new training program for family caregivers to help them manage pain in loved ones with mild to moderate dementia. The program teaches caregivers pain coping skills to coach their family member, aiming to improve pain management and reduce caregiver stress. Researchers are recruiting 60 people (30 patient-caregiver pairs) to see if this approach is helpful and satisfactory.
