Summary
This study compares two pain management approaches for adults with serious injuries. Researchers want to see if using buprenorphine (a medication sometimes used for opioid addiction) works as well as traditional oxycodone for controlling pain after trauma. The goal is to find effective pain relief while potentially reducing the need for strong opioids during recovery.
