Summary

This study compares two pain medicines given through a pump that patients control after lung surgery. About 200 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either buprenorphine or oxycodone for 48 hours after surgery. The goal is to see which drug provides better pain relief with fewer breathing problems and side effects.
