First seen Dec 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a steroid to a nerve block can provide longer pain relief and reduce the need for strong painkillers after a procedure to treat uterine fibroids or adenomyosis. About 28 women aged 30-60 will be randomly assigned to receive the nerve block with or without the steroid. The goal is to improve comfort and recovery after uterine artery embolization.
