Summary
This study looked at 118 adults having lung surgery to see if giving a mix of lidocaine, ketamine, and magnesium during the operation could lower pain and the need for morphine afterward. Researchers measured pain levels and morphine use in the first 24 hours, as well as complications and chronic pain at 3 months. The goal was to find better ways to manage pain without relying heavily on opioids.
