Summary

This study compares two pain medication approaches for people recovering from knee or hip replacement surgery. Researchers want to see if combining tramadol and oxycodone works better than oxycodone alone to control pain while reducing overall opioid use and side effects like nausea. The trial involves 560 adults who are having their first knee or hip replacement.
