New study tests which nerve block works better for kidney surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06298227
Summary
This study compares two different ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques to see which provides better pain relief after laparoscopic kidney removal surgery. Researchers will measure how much opioid pain medication patients need in the first 24 hours after surgery and track their pain scores. The goal is to find the most effective method to control post-surgical pain and reduce the need for strong painkillers.
