Summary
This study aimed to see if a special nerve block could reduce pain and the need for strong opioid painkillers after open-heart surgery. It planned to compare a numbing medicine to a harmless saltwater solution in patients recovering from surgery. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
