New pain block aims to help patients breathe easier after surgery

NCT ID NCT07478601

Summary

This study is testing if a specific type of nerve block, given with ultrasound guidance, can help people recover better after having their gallbladder removed through keyhole surgery. Researchers want to see if this pain-relief method reduces pain and, importantly, helps patients breathe more easily after the operation. They will compare this approach to standard pain management in 70 adults.
