New pain block could cut opioid use after neck surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether a specific nerve block can lower pain and the need for painkillers after cervical disc surgery. About 40 adults having this neck surgery will receive either the nerve block or standard care. The goal is to see if the block leads to better pain control and fewer side effects.
