First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks—erector spinae and intercostal—for controlling pain after lung surgery. About 120 adults having video-assisted lung procedures will receive one of the two blocks. Researchers will measure pain scores and pain medication use for up to 72 hours after surgery to see which method works better.
