This study compared two types of nerve blocks—erector spinae plane block and paravertebral block—for pain control after open kidney surgery. 72 adults aged 18-60 were split into two groups to see which block provided longer pain relief and better recovery. The goal is to improve patient comfort and reduce the need for strong painkillers.
