Summary

This study looked at 40 adults who had open kidney surgery to see which pain-blocking injection works better. One group got an external oblique intercostal plane (EOIP) block, and the other got a transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block. Researchers measured how much extra pain medicine patients needed in the first 24 hours after surgery.
