New pain block may offer better relief after hernia surgery

Summary
This study tested two different nerve blocks to control pain after laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery. 90 adults received either an M-TAPA or TAP block, and their pain scores and need for extra pain medicine were compared. The goal was to see which block provides better pain relief after surgery.
