Hernia surgery pain relief: which nerve block works better?
NCT ID NCT06483607
Summary
This study compared two different nerve block techniques for reducing pain after laparoscopic hernia surgery. Researchers tested the M-TAPA block and the TAP block on 90 patients to see which provided better pain relief. All patients received standard pain medications, and researchers measured their pain levels and need for additional painkillers over 24 hours after surgery.
