New study aims to find best pain relief for gallbladder surgery

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks to see which provides better pain relief after open gallbladder removal. Sixty-six adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The main goal is to measure pain levels two hours after surgery, along with how much pain medicine they need. The results could help improve recovery and comfort for future patients.
