Could a simpler pill replace multiple daily inhalations for lung disease patients?

NCT ID NCT07356375

Summary

This study looks at whether switching adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) from an inhaled medication that requires multiple daily uses to a twice-daily oral pill improves their quality of life and makes it easier to stick with treatment. Researchers will follow 32 patients whose doctors decide to make this switch in routine care, comparing them to patients who stay on the inhaled medication. The goal is to understand the patient experience to help guide future treatment decisions.
