Could a pill replace daily inhalers for a serious lung condition?
NCT ID NCT07356375
Summary
This study aims to understand if switching adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) from a medication they inhale several times a day to a pill taken twice daily improves their quality of life and makes it easier to stick with treatment. Researchers will follow 32 patients whose doctors decide to make this switch in routine care, comparing them to patients who stay on the inhaled medication. The goal is to gather real-world information to help doctors and patients make more informed treatment decisions.
